The purpose of this book is to explain the basic principles of optics and image fomation particular to such lenses and optical systems. The book is intended as a compact source of useful data, for anyone concerned with th visual communications industry, from secondary school pupils to professional camera users and euipment specialists. Sindey F Ray is Priniciple Lecturer in Photographic Sciences and Electronic Imaging at the University of Westminster.
